Gretchen Pleuss and The Pontiac Trail Blazers

Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone. This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. Gretchen Pleuss is an Ann Arbor, Michigan based poet and singer-songwriter whose “vocal delivery and skillful finger picking call to mind the folk singers who graced the stage of the Gaslight Café during the 60’s Greenwich Village folk renaissance. Fans of Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, and other folk luminaries will appreciate Gretchen’s gorgeous arrangements and thought-provoking songwriting” – Dan Jarvis, Midwest Action.

To date, Gretchen has played at an array of prominent venues and festivals and opened for acts such as Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket), Bill Payne (Little Feat), Lisa Loeb, Loudon Wainwright III, and Damien Jurado.

Accompanying Gretchen for this performance are Ann Arbor’s own Pontiac Trail Blazers, whose beautiful harmonies and acoustic prowess go back to their Bluegrass roots. With a deep repertoire of traditional standards, originals, and unique covers, the Trail Blazers always keep it interesting with unexpected tunes and arrangements.
