Take Back the 661
Take Back the 661 is a youth-civic gathering at the CSUB Stockdale Room, hosted by ASI and Kern Sol News. The evening will use the indoor and outdoor spaces to combine community resources, conversation, local stories, and music. Young voters, potential voters, college students, and young adults who feel disconnected from traditional civic spaces will explore how local decisions affect their lives and identify practical ways to participate. Kern Sol youth fellows will also present on their work and how different local issues can be woven into civic engagement.
Since the event is right before Halloween, it will also feature a Halloween theme and encourage people to dress up but enforce no face coverings.
