Help Launch Coastal Georgia College Football Club

The College of Coastal Georgia Football Club is embarking on its very first year, and Malcolm Jones, CCGA Football Club Advisor/Coach, is reaching out on behalf of the club to ask for your support. As the only college football team in the area, the club is determined to build a strong program that brings students and the community together.

Right now, both the men’s and women’s divisions are in need of basic essentials—water and food for practices and games, jerseys, tournament fees, hotel and travel expenses, and equipment like cleats and ladders. With no funding yet, every bit of help will make a huge difference as they strive to grow from a club sport into a true collegiate football program.

Your support will allow the club to participate in the NIRSA tournament, giving students the chance to compete at a higher level and represent their college with pride. Football is a big part of southeast Georgia, and this club has the potential to become a centerpiece for the community, offering students a place to belong and grow.

By helping cover these essential costs, you’re not just supporting a team—you’re helping to build a lasting tradition and a sense of unity for everyone involved. Malcolm Jones, CCGA Football Club Advisor/Coach, and the College of Coastal Georgia Football Club are asking for your generosity to help them lay the foundation for something special.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help these students pursue their passion and bring football to life in their college and community. Thank you for considering a gift to support their journey!

Fundraising Plan and Custodial Account Deposit Process The CCGA Football Club will use GoFundMe as an online fundraising platform to collect voluntary donations in support of club operations, equipment, travel, uniforms, and other approved club-related expenses. Donations are optional and are not required for participation in the club.

Donors will not receive any special benefits, privileges, or penalties based on whether they choose to donate. All funds raised through GoFundMe will be tracked and documented.

The club will keep records of the GoFundMe campaign page, donation totals, transaction/processing fees, transfer confirmations, and deposit documentation. Funds will not be used for personal purchases or personal expenses.

Once funds become available from GoFundMe and are transferred into the linked bank account, the full available amount will be moved into the club’s CCGA custodial account within 24 hours, or as soon as the Bursar’s Office is open to receive the deposit. The club will complete the required custodial account deposit process and submit all necessary documentation to the Bursar’s Office/Student Life.

The club will maintain records showing the amount raised, the amount received after platform fees, the date funds were transferred from GoFundMe, the date funds entered the bank account, and the date funds were deposited into the CCGA custodial account. The club will follow all Student Life, Bursar, and institutional fundraising procedures.
