Opening event details
Folk, Americana, Rock, and a dash of Jazz, are the musical vehicles for the expression of life’s journey in As Above So Below. Stories and lessons of passion, personal love, compassion, standing in one’s truth, and ultimately the recognition of Spirit moving in, through, and all around us, remind us of who we are beyond our “humanness” and celebrate the gifts we receive when we choose to listen to our hearts and “be the light with all our might!”
Andrea Randa, has been singing for as far back as she can remember, from the old timey songs her grandmother taught her, through country rock bands, 25 years of singing opera, and most recently as a singer-songwriter. Along with growing up in New York City, she spent all of her summers in rural PA on her grandparent’s organic farm.
Her albums include: My Country, her debut EP of original country tunes, The Crystal Bowl Experience, a collection of classical tunes with Sylph Chamber Music (an ensemble of piano, flute, and quartz crystal singing bowls), and most recently Our Christmas Songbook, a collection of 24 traditional Christmas Carols, both a cappella and accompanied by guitar and percussion, in two-part harmonies, with her daughter, Kirsten Maxwell.
