A Band Called Honalee
November 22 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm A Band Called Honalee is a modern-day folk trio inspired by the music and legacy of Peter, Paul and Mary . Musically accomplished, interactive, and energetic, their shows allow audiences to experience this timeless music live onstage once again.
Founded in 2011 by producer and Music Director Aaron Gandy, the group believes the melodies and messages of the 1960s folk and folk/rock era are just as relevant today as they were when they were first sung, perhaps even more so. Their mission is to share this uniquely American music with new audiences, while rekindling the passion of lifelong fans.
Most of all, they celebrate the power of these songs to inspire people and bring them together once again. The group maintains a roster of a dozen different vocalists who are all members of the Honalee family.
Each maintains an active solo career, in addition to frequently appearing with A Band Called Honalee around the country. Their recordings have been featured on The Folk Connection (bostonpete.com), a radio program that showcases excellence in folk. $33 – $75 Egyptian Theatre (815) 758-1215 View Organizer Website Egyptian Theatre 135 North 2nd Street DeKalb , IL 60115 United States + Google Map Learn More Add to calendar Google Calendar iCalendar Outlook 365 Outlook Live Related Events 2026 Sycamore Farmers Market August 18 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm 2026 DeKalb Municipal Band Concert August 18 @ 7:30 pm ELVIS: In Person Starring Matt Stone August 19 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
