Museum of East Dorset: Cowboys in Space
Yee ha cowboys! Saddle up for an out-of-this-world adventure!
A herd of cows has been abducted by mischievous aliens and the cowboys need your help to bring the herd home. Search for the missing cows hidden throughout the museum and complete a series of space-themed challenges along the way.
Get ready for your mission with our life-sized Balancing Bronco – a Buckaroo-inspired challenge. Can you pack up your kit without sending the load tumbling? 5, 4, 3, 2, 1….Blast Off!
Test your strength with the Rocket Striker challenge – how far can blast the rocket? In the garden you will find our GIANT space-themed marble maze – can you carefully guide the cattle through space and safely back to the farm?
Plus: get creative at the craft table, dress up as cowboys, cowgirls, astronauts or cows and enjoy themed photo opportunities – including the humongous rocket waiting for visitors in the garden.
