Elgin Community Bikes
Full moon ride - Oct 2026 -- Rolling out
Celebrate the Hunter’s Moon with a community Full Moon Ride starting from Elgin Community Bikes. Costumes are welcome for a bit of Halloween fun.
This is a social, moderate-paced night ride covering about 7 to 9 miles through the core neighborhoods of Elgin. Rides typically last around 60 to 70 minutes.
Plan to arrive early if you need air or small adjustments, as equipment will be available for minor repairs and tire inflation. For safety and to meet Illinois requirements, use a white light on the front of your bike and a red reflector or red light on the back so you are visible after dark.
A signed 2026 annual ride waiver is required.
