Germantown Library Makerspace: Makerspace: Stop Motion Animation Workshop

Do you have a story that you have been wanting to tell? Are you just curious about how stop-motion movies are made?

In this hands-on stop-motion activity, students will First watch several stop motion animation shorts. Then with colorful and expressive 2D puppets, backgrounds, iPads and Stop Motion Studio, they will explore movement, timing, and visual storytelling as they construct their own short movies.

We will focus on playful experimentation, collaboration, and discovering how small changes can create the illusion of movement. Sunday, October 18, 3pm in the Makerspace For grades 3-5 ages, with Judith Seidel Limited Space.
