Read to a Dog

Looking for a little puppy love and stress relief? Join us at the library on every first Wednesday and third Saturday of each month for a special visit from the therapy dogs of K9 TheraPets of Hawaii!

These gentle, furry friends are eager to hear a story and help promote reading while bringing smiles and calm to readers of all ages. All children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Events will not be held on State holidays. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible.

Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
