Las Migas Writing Workout
Free, in-person workshop, registration required. Join Inprint in collaboration with Performing Arts Houston for an exciting writing workshop inspired by the vibrant artistry of Las Migas.
Led by writer Raquel Abend, this workshop explores how body movement, rhythm, and sound can shape one’s creative work. Through guided, interactive writing activities, participants will discover how flamenco’s passionate lyrics and choreography can inspire storytelling.
Participants will experiment with language, imagery, and movement to develop original writing inspired by the spirit of Las Migas. No prior writing experience is needed; adults of all experience levels are welcome to join this celebration of writing and flamenco.
Please bring your preferred writing materials: notebook/journal and pen/pencil or a digital device. While this engagement centers and celebrates the subjects and themes present in the group’s artistry, Las Migas will not be in attendance.
