Skip to main content Search Yale Avenue Enhancement Project Community Workshop Event Date & Time Thu, Sep 24 2026, 6:30 - 8pm The City of Irvine is leading the Yale Avenue Enhancement project to explore opportunities to enhance safety, accessibility, and mobility along Yale Avenue (including Yale Loop) north of the I-405 Freeway. The project will evaluate potential improvements to help create safer and more connected travel for people who walk, bike, drive and use other modes of transportation.

Potential improvements may include protected or separated bikeways, enhanced pedestrian crossings, traffic control devices, protected intersections, and other features designed to support all users. Join us at a Community Workshop to learn more about the project, review different improvement options, share preferences, ask questions, and provide valuable input.

Community Workshop #1: Thursday, September 24, 6:30–8 p.m., Heritage Park Community Center The workshop is open-house style; visit anytime between 6:30 and 8 p.m. Community Workshop #2: Monday, September 28, 5–7 p.m., Northwood Community Center This workshop is combined with the Venta Spur Trail Crossings Improvement project.

It is open-house style; visit anytime during the workshop. Community Workshop #3: (Virtual on Zoom) Wednesday, October 14 Community input is vital to this project.
