The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry hosts Molympics

Watch your chemistry professors and fellow students compete in a series of chemistry-themed Olympic-style events to help celebrate Mole Day!

Elemental Relay - Teams race to match element symbols with their names and atomic numbers.Whack-a-Mole - Teams will compete to see how many moles they can whack in a given time.PPE Relay Race - Teams will race to put on a series of PPE.Munchy, Munchy Moles - Teams will compete to see how many “molecules” they can collect in a given time.Build a Better Bridge Contest - Teams will build a bridge needing to span a certain distance using provided materials in a given time and will be judged on amount of weight added until failure.

This event is part of the ACS National Chemistry Week events hosted by the KSU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
