36th Annual - Global Bellydancer of the Universe Competition

Now in its 36th year, this global belly dance competition comes to the Assistance League Theatre in Hollywood with a full schedule of contests, showcases, and honors. Early rounds are danced to recorded tracks supplied by competitors, while the final round features live musical accompaniment. A crowd favorite will be named through audience applause, measured with a sound meter. Alongside the contests, there will be spotlights on previous champions and an Icon Awards presentation.
