Universalist Unitarian Church of Peoria
The Screaming Pumpkin
Runners and walkers tackle an eerie route through Springdale Cemetery in Peoria, IL. Participants can choose a 2 mile walk/run, a 6.55 mile run, a half marathon, a full marathon, a full marathon relay for teams of four, or a virtual option that includes a race t-shirt.
The 2 mile distance is family friendly, and the relay offers a marathon experience without covering the entire distance. The half marathon, full marathon, and relay follow a prediction format in which the winner is the person who finishes nearest to the set finish benchmark without going over.
Proceeds benefit the Yellow Bear Foundation, supporting research and awareness for Primary Immunodeficiency.
