Willy Wonka, Jr at the Racine Theater Guild

You’re invited to join DSAW for an afternoon at the theater as we see Willy Wonka, Jr! This production is part of RTG’s Children’s Theater program.

The delicious adventures of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory light up in a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone’s sweet tooth. Willy Wonka stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five candy bars.

Whomever finds the tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather.

The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.

The Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, Jr. features beloved songs including “The Candy Man,” “I Want It Now!,” and “Pure Imagination” from the classic film. Register by: Thursday, 11/19/2026
