Writing Relationships
Relationships are hard — both in life and on the page! In this three-hour workshop, learn now to portray relationships in fiction with authenticity, complexity, and drama (but not melodrama). Whether you’re writing about siblings or couples, friends or lovers, you’ll learn how to reveal the foundations and nuances of relationships using tools of the craft including dialogue, setting, and POV. We’ll look at readings from short stories and novels, and we’ll do in-class writing prompts to put what we discuss into practice.
Please note that you will receive your Zoom link via email 24 hours before the start of this class. If you enroll in this class less than 24 hours before it begins, please either send us a message or email us at [email protected] to request your link.
