@ Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 18, 2026 and be part of the Reading Hospital Road Run . Whether you are a seasoned runner or just getting started, we have something for everyone – including a Half Marathon, 5K, and Fun Run.

Each course winds through the beautiful neighborhoods surrounding Reading Hospital. Bring your friends and family to enjoy our Fun Zone, featuring informational booths, fun activities, and a variety of food trucks.

Run for a Cause Your support of the 2026 Reading Hospital Road Run will directly support patient care in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. As one of the busiest Emergency Departments (ED) in Pennsylvania, Reading Hospital is the front door to critical care for nearly 500,000 residents across Berks County and beyond.

Many of our most critically ill patients arrive through the ED, and our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care – consistently operating at full capacity. Expanding the ED will modernize triage and improve patient flow, while the addition of 19 new ICU beds will further enhance our ability to provide timely, seamless transitions from emergency care to intensive care for those who need it most.
