Lunch & Learn: How fiction can shape your relationship with God

Why are we so drawn to great stories? Whether in books, films or television, stories have a unique ability to capture our imagination, reveal truth and help us better understand ourselves.

But what if the stories we love can also deepen our understanding of God’s work in our lives? Explore how the building blocks of storytelling mirror the spiritual journey of every Christian.

Drawing from familiar stories, films and biblical examples, you’ll see how understanding the structure of fiction can help us recognize God’s hand in our lives and better understand the process of spiritual growth. Whether you are a reader, writer, movie lover or just seeking a deeper understanding of your faith journey, this presentation will offer a fresh and compelling perspective on how God is writing a greater story through your life.
