Everyone faces disappointment. Rejection in relationships, setbacks at work, unmet expectations, seasons when life simply doesn’t go as planned.
Frustration can leave us stuck and discouraged. But what if your greatest setbacks could actually shape you for the better?
In this practical Lunch & Learn, you’ll learn how to respond to frustration and rejection with resilience and hope. You’ll pick up healthy ways to process life’s letdowns and discover how God often uses them to grow our character and strengthen our faith.
Come ready to leave encouraged and better equipped for whatever comes next. About the Speaker: Dr.
George Kenworthy is the president and founder of 2Restored (2restored.com), a ministry dedicated to strengthening marriages and families in crisis by providing resources to churches, businesses and families to evaluate their overall emotional and interpersonal health. He has served as a pastor for more than 30 years and has taught Old Testament, preaching, and counseling at several seminaries, including Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Denver Seminary, Bethel Seminary, Phoenix Seminary, and Fuller Seminary.
George holds master’s degrees in divinity and theology and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree. He is the author of Marriage Makeover and Before the Last Resort: Three Simple Questions That Will Rescue Your Marriage, and has been a frequent speaker with FamilyLife and Minnesota Teen Challenge.
George and his wife, Joan, have three adult children, all serving in Christian ministry around the world. Together, they have devoted their lives to helping people experience God’s grace, healing and hope through life’s greatest challenges.
